	While I had dabled with oil painting before, this was my first serious attempt to paint with oil and defines my shift from acrylic painting to oil painting, although I still painted landscapes in acrylic for a while afterwards. Oil on canvas, 20" X 16" 2001

10 Jun 2005	Anonymous	Loading... I agree w/ Steve, it is melcony and she does seem to focus on the distance, but its nice. I like how she is not characteristicly thin and angulur (though those are my fav.) it gives it an air of realilsm.

It is good, and the ear is much better than most elfin ones at Elfwood (such as the manga style of sticking out,) though I think that could be slightly more realistic. Vulcan ears in Star Trek are most realistic or at least aesthetic, compared to in LoTR movies which the ear here looks like, though those might seem more how they would develop than in Star Trek.
