Alisa Simonoff

Hi and thanks for stopping by in my little corner of cyberspace. As the big text above says Imy name is Alisa. I live in Northen California where I find much of my inspiration in the mountains, forests and rivers.  It was at a small waterway known as Frey Creek many years ago that I first experienced a "prescence", I would call it, that surrounded and filled me and I knew that I was in the company of, well, something not quite in the same place that I was in.

To me, my art is about that prescence. I seek for the divine that is hidden within the land, the water, and the air. It lies just beyond the edge of vision and leads me foreward in glimpes imprinted on my mind.
